"In chrysanthemum, the yellow flowers are treasures fine" is taken from Go Gyung Myong's poem from Joseon dynasty. Even though it's blooming along others flowers, yellow chrysanthemum would always be the most beautiful and strongest one. In this masterpiece, the Chrysan in the painted by water microbial, on Nutrient Agar (NA)'s medium. Although the contaminants grew together, one eye could never been off from its beauty.
Benefits in Everyday Life
Aquatic bacteria help maintain water quality by breaking down organic matter. Some species are also used in wastewater treatment and biotechnological processes.
**Role in the Ecosystem**
Aquatic bacteria help recycle nutrients by decomposing organic matter and the remains of organisms. They also play an important role in the food web of aquatic ecosystems.
**Examples of Species**
Some bacteria commonly found in aquatic environments include *Pseudomonas fluorescens*, *Bacillus subtilis*, *Aeromonas hydrophila*, and *Nitrosomonas* spp.
**Interesting Fact 🔍**
Clear-looking water does not necessarily mean it is free of bacteria. In fact, healthy aquatic ecosystems contain diverse microbial communities that play an important role in maintaining ecological balance.
